A classical Sanskrit work may survive in multiple manuscript traditions and printed editions. A translation presents it in another language; a commentary offers interpretation from a particular philosophical school.
ISKCON primarily uses A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupāda’s translations and commentaries published by the Bhaktivedanta Book Trust (BBT). That does not imply one universal authorised edition of all Vedic literature.
Identify the title, author or commentator, publisher, language, edition and verse when citing. Link to authorised sources such as Vedabase whenever possible.
Permission to sell physical books does not automatically permit redistribution of PDFs, complete translations or illustrations online.
